David Dutton

With an eclectic array of short films, music videos, and animation to his credit, David Dutton is rapidly gaining reputation as an ingenious director. David is proud to support and represent the Bay Area independent art and music presence both locally and worldwide.

David has produced music videos for Dev, Bassnectar, Fountains of Wayne, Miguel, and more. In partnership with electro-pop duo The Limousines, their 70’s-cinema-zombie-horror music video “Internet Killed the Video Star” has become a cult classic with over a million views on youtube, and winning the Audience Choice Award at the 2011 LA Music Video Festival (indie category), and was featured on MTV.

David also directs for the Youtube channel, CINEFIX. His current show, 8-Bit Cinema, has been a sensation with hundreds of thousands of views per episode and featured on such outlets as The Huffington Post, Mashable; and often will be tweeted by the very directors from the films the episodes are based off of.
